Fareea Ma has been a social welfare volunteer for more than 20 years and founder up of WOX (Way Out Experiences), a social enterprise that manages volunteers on conservation programmes. WOX also specialises in developing integrated conservation programmes that involve people from local communities living within conservation areas to be actively involved in animal and environment conservation. Using key endangered animals as their focal point, WOX is able to tell the story of conservation to young and old, inviting them to participate as individuals, student bodies, or as corporate in similar conservation efforts.
After several years working in various industries, Fareea had to take over responsibility of her father's aviation company. Fareea was born and bred Kuala Lumpur and educated at Chinese and National schools before heading to complete her university years in Turkey. She recieved a B.Sc in International Relations before returning home to Malaysia to serve the country.
